Irene Soto, Medical Assistant, Triage
I was born in New York. Most of my education up to High School was in Puerto Rico. I went to Sarasota Fl program for my CNA training. I worked at a short term rehabilitation hospital in SunSet Lake for about a year, and then I worked for 4.5 years at Peace River Hospital in Port Charlotte as a CNA.
In August of 2009 I started working with Dr Cepero in another practice, then moved to work with her when she opened her own practice. Since I started working in Pediatrics I have been cross trained to work on the floor with patients, in triage, Insurance authorizations, Vaccines and supplies ordering, etc.
I love to work with children, spend time with my family and watch movies. I have 3 children of my own. I love working at Cepero Pediatrics because I am always learning new things. For me it this is not just a Job, we are family!
